Translation - Anjali Anjali
This translation is for the song Anjali Anjali from the Tamil movie Duet. A very melodious song sung by none other than S.P.Balasubramaniam. The song can be found here.
[This song is sung in praise of the female lead role by her love. Anjali is the heroine’s name in the movie and the whole song revolves around the word Anjali - meaning offering. The situation is one in which she is in love with two men. One a poet and another a musician. As this song is a very difficult one to translate, I will do a line by line translation.]
